Durante cuatro d\u00e9cadas se celebraron en \u00e9l todo tipo de espect\u00e1culos: teatro, zarzuela, cine, bailes, incluso peleas de gallos. Fue derribado en 1969 para construir una sala cinematogr\u00e1fica moderna, el Cine Chimisay.
